Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning research to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for implementing next-gen solutions in enterprise environments
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on technology's societal impact
- Oversee pilot programs for experimental tech in controlled real-world environments
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience
- Proven track record of developing and scaling futuristic technology initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, neuromorphic computing, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published author or keynote speaker at major tech conferences
- Experience working with government agencies on technology policy
- Strong background in ethical AI development and responsible innovation frameworks
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish preferred for global collaboration
