Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year strategic innovation roadmap aligning with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant security frameworks and decentralized AI systems
- Identify and vet emerging technologies (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Secure partnerships with NASA, Stanford, and global innovation hubs for R&D collaboration
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Mentor junior innovators through our FutureFounders accelerator program
- Drive patent portfolio development targeting 50+ filings by 2026
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies with $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in future-gazing methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning) and technology forecasting
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech convergence
- Strong network with academic institutions and government innovation bodies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in journals like Nature Futures or MIT Tech Review
