Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 10-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives identifying disruptive trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate futuristic concepts into viable product pipelines
- Present visionary insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Build and lead a specialized futures research team
- Author thought leadership publications on long-term technological impacts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning or technology foresight roles
- Proven experience developing 5+ year strategic frameworks
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published research or patents in future technology domains
- Certification in Futures Research or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTR)
