About the Role: As a key architect of our future strategy, you'll analyze emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and socio-economic shifts to develop actionable insights that will shape our product development, market expansion, and organizational evolution. You'll collaborate with C-suite executives and cross-functional teams to embed foresight into every strategic decision.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological, economic, and societal shifts
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks and scenario planning models
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable roadmaps
- Author high-impact thought leadership pieces on future trends and their implications
- Partner with R&D to identify and prioritize breakthrough technologies for commercialization
- Establish key performance indicators for future-readiness across all departments
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and Web3
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Executive presence and experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership in reputable industry publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar)
