Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technology domains
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D to align breakthrough technologies with market needs
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026+ industry predictions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategy, Technology, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial value
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech convergence trends
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategic pivots
- Prior work with global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Shenzhen, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in reputable industry journals
