Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 5-10 year strategic vision aligned with emerging technological paradigms
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations and market opportunities for 2026+
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-focused initiatives
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on next-generation industry trends
- Establish KPIs and frameworks for measuring long-term strategic impact
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize future technology investments
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven track record of successful long-term strategy implementation
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong presentation skills for executive-level communication
- Published thought leadership in industry publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or equivalent methodology
