Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic scenarios using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and predictive modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Present quarterly strategic foresight briefings to the executive board and stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research organizations
- Author annual 'Future State' reports influencing R&D priorities and investment strategy
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and technological shifts affecting our 2026 vision
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused consulting
- Proven track record developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and predictive analytics
- Strong background in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field
- Certification in Futures Research or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience building and leading high-impact innovation teams
