Job Description
Join Nexus Labs at the forefront of 2026's quantum computing revolution. We're seeking a visionary Quantum UX Researcher to redefine human-computer interaction for next-gen quantum interfaces. Shape how humanity interacts with parallel realities and solve the world's most complex problems through intuitive quantum design.
As a key member of our Future Interfaces Division, you'll pioneer user experience methodologies for quantum systems that don't exist yet. This isn't just UX – it's reality engineering. If you thrive at the intersection of cognitive science, quantum physics, and speculative design, this is your calling.
Responsibilities
- Design and conduct user research for quantum interfaces operating in superposition states
- Develop cognitive frameworks for interacting with multi-dimensional data visualizations
- Create prototype testing protocols for non-linear user journeys across parallel timelines
- Collaborate with quantum physicists to translate abstract concepts into tangible UX principles
- Lead speculative design workshops envisioning 2026-era quantum computing applications
- Document emerging quantum UX patterns and establish industry best practices
- Mentor junior researchers in future-facing research methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or Quantum Information Theory
- 5+ years UX research experience with emerging technologies (AR/VR/AI)
- Published work in quantum cognition or speculative design
- Proficiency in quantum simulation environments (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in designing for non-linear user experiences
- Portfolio demonstrating future-facing research projects
- Experience with neural interface and biofeedback systems
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement's impact on user psychology
