Responsibilities
- Design novel quantum algorithms for error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Lead experimental validation on 50+ qubit quantum processors
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent disclosures
- Collaborate with cryptography teams to post-quantum security protocols
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and APS March Meeting
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Published research in quantum error correction or variational algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence dynamics
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters (HPC)
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills with numerical libraries
