- Secure $5M+ in government/industry research grants
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science
- Shape quantum computing standards for IEEE and NIST
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum research with published qubit manipulation breakthroughs
- Expertise in topological quantum computing and error correction
- Proven grant-writing success with federal agencies (DARPA, NSF)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience leading international research consortia
- Patents in quantum cryptography or hardware design
- Fluency in quantum machine learning frameworks
