Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 performance benchmarks
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols for commercial deployment
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams integrating quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Research and prototype novel quantum algorithms for industry-specific applications
- Architect secure quantum networks with end-to-end encryption protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum systems with demonstrated fault-tolerance implementations
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical optimization
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Security clearance preferred for government contract work
- Track record of delivering quantum computing MVPs in production environments
