Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for commercial scalability
- Develop error-correction protocols targeting 99.99% qubit stability
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic system integration
- Drive quantum security frameworks for next-gen cryptography
- Present breakthrough architectures to federal research agencies
- Mentor quantum engineering teams in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm design
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum coherence
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Deep understanding of topological quantum computing models
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 50 qubits
- Clearance for DOE/NIST collaborative projects
