Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for AI optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives bridging quantum computing and neural networks
- Develop predictive models for technological singularity scenarios and ethical AI frameworks
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in quantum AI methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum machine learning techniques
- Partner with hardware teams to co-design next-gen quantum processors
- Present breakthrough findings at premier tech conferences (NeurIPS, QIP, etc.)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Machine Learning (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE, QML) and quantum circuit design
- Proficiency with quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane) and AI libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Publication record in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) or conferences
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and distributed systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
