Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 5-10 year impact potential
- Develop innovation roadmaps aligned with UN SDGs and federal 2026 tech initiatives
- Facilitate design sprints for prototyping next-gen human-AI interfaces
- Analyze regulatory landscapes for autonomous systems and biotech advancements
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify disruptive startups for acquisition
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on future technology trends
- Manage $2M annual innovation budget for pilot programs and R&D partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or technology consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Experience with federal grant programs (DARPA, NSF) preferred
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (CFP) or similar
