Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026+ tech adoption across AI, biotech, and climate tech verticals
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Develop go-to-market frameworks for futuristic solutions (quantum applications, neurotech interfaces)
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation with ESG and regulatory frameworks
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D portfolio for next-gen product development
- Present disruptive concepts to Fortune 500 clients and industry consortiums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile methodologies for complex systems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or product development with 3+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record scaling solutions from lab to market (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE, APF) or equivalent experience
- Published research or patents in peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Experience managing cross-continental R&D teams across 3+ time zones
- Fluency in Python/Java for prototyping; proficiency in data visualization tools
- PhD or MBA from top-tier institution with focus on disruptive innovation
