Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for climate resilience and sustainable infrastructure
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for 2026 tech initiatives
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for executive stakeholders
- Oversee patent development and IP portfolio management for future-focused innovations
- Conduct scenario planning for geopolitical and regulatory impacts on emerging technologies
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in R&D, product innovation, or strategic foresight roles
- Proven track record of launching tech products with 3+ years market impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, or climate tech)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFS, CFIP)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($1M+ projects)
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., TrendHunter, Gartner Hype Cycle)
