- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build and lead a 12-person innovation task force across engineering and design
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts affecting 2026 landscape
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in strategic leadership
- Proven track record delivering futuristic products (3+ launches)
- PhD or equivalent in emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum)
- Expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation bodies
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
