Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmaps in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of researchers, engineers, and product strategists
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 R&D labs
- Translate cutting-edge research into scalable commercial applications
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks and responsible AI development
- Secure $5M+ in venture funding and government innovation grants
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
Qualifications
- 15+ years in R&D leadership across at least two emerging tech domains
- PhD in Computational Science, Bioengineering, or equivalent experience
- Proven track record commercializing frontier technologies (3+ exits)
- Expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning
- Deep understanding of quantum computing and synthetic biology convergence
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) and corporate venture capital
- Published research in Nature, Science, or equivalent tier journals
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
