Responsibilities
- Lead strategic innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruption
- Direct quantum computing and AI integration projects for enterprise clients
- Manage a $5M+ R&D budget with autonomy to pursue breakthrough research
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on federally funded tech initiatives
- Present findings to C-suite executives and industry thought leaders
- Mentor a team of 12 PhD researchers and engineers
- File 3+ patents annually in emerging tech domains
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field
- 8+ years in R&D leadership at Fortune 500 tech firms
- Proven track record scaling quantum/AI solutions from prototype to production
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with federated learning and zero-trust architectures
- Expertise in ISO 21448 (SOTIF) and IEEE P2801 standards
