Responsibilities
- Lead strategic roadmap for 2026 technology initiatives across AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Drive cross-functional R&D projects with engineering, design, and product teams
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies for market integration
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Lead patent development and intellectual property strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation or R&D leadership
- Proven track record scaling emerging technologies to market
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Strong financial acumen with budget management experience
- PhD or equivalent in STEM field preferred
- Published research or patents in innovation domains
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills
- Experience with agile/lean methodologies in R&D contexts
