Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 innovation roadmaps using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype solutions for quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-tech
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and emerging tech startups
- Design and execute human-centered innovation frameworks ensuring ethical deployment of breakthrough technologies
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Monitor global regulatory shifts and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Maintain the Innovation Radar System - a proprietary AI platform tracking 500+ emerging tech signals
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 breakthrough technologies or methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI, AR/VR, climate-tech)
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Thinking, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to visualize complex multi-variable scenarios
- Published thought leadership in future studies or technology innovation (minimum 3 peer-reviewed articles)
- Fluency in innovation methodologies (e.g., Design Foresight, Strategic Foresight, Technology Roadmapping)
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets and managing cross-continental R&D teams
