Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, sustainable energy)
- Partner with product teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, patents, and industry keynotes
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and futurists
- Build and nurture ecosystem partnerships with startups, academia, and government agencies
- Quantify future market opportunities and ROI for emerging ventures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership with proven impact on future-facing initiatives
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi analysis, technology roadmapping)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional systems thinking and ability to connect disparate domains
- Track record of launching pioneering products or ventures
- Advanced degree in relevant field (Engineering, Futures Studies, Business, or equivalent experience)
