Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AGI) and societal shifts to identify strategic opportunities for 2026+
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans for market disruption and competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future-state vision
- Produce trend reports and whitepapers on topics like climate-tech convergence and neuro-interfaces
- Advise product teams on future-proofing architectures and user experience paradigms
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic foresight to investors and board members quarterly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of forecasting market disruptions (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CSF, Foresight Practitioner)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier industry publications
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) and trend analysis software
