Responsibilities
- Research and forecast emerging technologies shaping 2026 (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Develop strategic roadmaps for next-gen product launches and service innovations
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts
- Advise executive leadership on technology investments and market disruption risks
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global tech forums
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire emerging startups
- Establish ethical frameworks for deploying transformative technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Deep expertise in 2+ emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong network of relationships with global tech innovators and research institutions
- Experience presenting complex concepts to C-level executives and boards
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., APF, WFS) or equivalent
