Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps and scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead cross-functional workshops on emerging tech implications (quantum, AI, biotech convergence)
- Produce foresight reports and trend briefings for executive stakeholders
- Design innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026 market gaps
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align research priorities with future market needs
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurist forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (2020-2025)
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Deep expertise in at least two 2026-relevant domains: quantum AI, climate tech, or neurotech
- Experience with patent analysis and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from APF or WFS)
