Responsibilities
- Forecast disruptive technologies and market shifts through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product ecosystems using predictive modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align R&D, marketing, and engineering teams on future visions
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on emerging tech impacts (quantum, AGI, neurotech)
- Advise executive leadership on innovation investments and portfolio diversification
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and startups shaping 2026's tech landscape
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in technology trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
- Strong background in at least two emerging domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation frameworks
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) preferred
