Responsibilities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (2026-2030 horizon)
- Analyze socio-technical trends and their disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and ethics teams
- Produce foresight reports and scenario-planning frameworks
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-proofing initiatives
- Represent company at global futurist forums and tech summits
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging tech
- Proven track record of developing long-term tech roadmaps
- Expertise in AI ethics, quantum computing, or bio-convergence
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech disruption or innovation
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
