Responsibilities
- Forecast technological and societal shifts through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints to prototype 2026+ solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Author thought leadership publications and speak at global forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight network
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis and scenario planning
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into executive narratives
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, backcasting)
- Exceptional systems thinking and ethical framework development
