This role blends foresight analysis with strategic execution, requiring both deep technical understanding and visionary thinking.
As a key member of our Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and global partners to shape our 5-10 year horizon. You'll lead horizon scanning initiatives, scenario planning workshops, and cross-functional projects that turn futuristic possibilities into actionable strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech domains
- Develop comprehensive 2026-2035 strategic roadmaps aligned with organizational vision
- Lead scenario planning workshops for disruptive technology adoption
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic shifts impacting future technology landscapes
- Drive innovation incubation programs for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futures research
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Technology Management, or related field
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive experience
- Published research in futurism or technology strategy preferred
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS) required
- Experience with strategic planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
