Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Horizon Reports' forecasting disruptive technologies in quantum, biotech, and AI
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align R&D, product, and executive teams on 2026 strategic priorities
- Analyze global macroeconomic trends to identify market opportunities and competitive threats
- Build scenario-planning models for systemic risks (regulatory, climate, geopolitical) impacting 2026
- Advose C-suite on ethical AI governance frameworks and sustainable innovation practices
- Represent Horizon at Davos, TED, and industry summits as a thought leader on 2026 trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Published research on 2020-2030 technology adoption curves or similar foresight work
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems modeling tools
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, synthetic biology, or generative AI ecosystems
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
- Portfolio of 3+ strategic roadmaps implemented in Fortune 500 companies
