Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026-2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum bioengineering and climate adaptation tech
- Produce trend briefings for C-suite executives on market evolution and competitive disruption
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and policy teams to align on future-proof initiatives
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Build predictive models using AI-powered trend analysis and scenario planning frameworks
- Mentor junior futurists in interdisciplinary research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis or scenario planning projects
- Expertise in technology convergence patterns (AI, biotech, quantum, climate)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for trend mapping
- Deep understanding of global megatrends affecting 2026+ socioeconomic landscapes
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
