Responsibilities
- Analyze quantum computing, AGI, and neurotech convergence for strategic product roadmaps
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026+ market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and venture teams
- Produce annual 'Future State' whitepapers for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic labs (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) for R&D collaboration
- Mentor junior futurists in foresight methodologies and trend analysis
- Present strategic briefings to Fortune 500 clients on emerging tech implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published work in peer-reviewed journals on emerging tech impact
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or neurotech
- Experience presenting to C-suite audiences and influencing enterprise strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-proofed product launches
