Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 strategic foresight roadmaps using AI-driven trend analysis and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from biotech, quantum computing, and neurotech sectors
- Produce quarterly horizon reports for C-suite stakeholders on disruptive market shifts
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-state solutions with 5-year implementation horizons
- Mentor junior futurists while establishing thought leadership through whitepapers and keynotes
- Coordinate global innovation sprints with partners like MIT and Singularity University
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic indicators affecting long-term tech adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
- Strong background in at least two of: synthetic biology, advanced AI, or space commercialization
- Exceptional storytelling skills translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Experience with foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state implementations
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity while delivering high-impact outputs
