Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps by analyzing global innovation trends, patent data, and academic research
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on futuristic vision and implementation strategies
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with scenario planning for disruptive technologies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to co-develop next-gen solutions
- Advise product teams on integrating emerging technologies into 5-year product roadmaps
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption timelines
- Create immersive simulations to model societal impacts of anticipated technological breakthroughs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or emerging technology roles
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial applications
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech or strategy publications
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning frameworks
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex futures to diverse audiences
