Responsibilities
- Analyze and report on emerging tech trends (2025-2027 horizon) for strategic decision-making
- Develop future-proof product roadmaps integrating AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders and R&D teams
- Author thought leadership publications and industry whitepapers
- Build and manage an external network of futurists, academics, and innovation labs
- Oversee innovation incubation programs for moonshot projects
- Represent company at global tech foresight conferences and summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, neurotech, or climate tech
- Published author or speaker at premier tech conferences (TED, Web Summit, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant technical field
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
