Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and sociological trends to map 2026+ opportunities and threats
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product development and market positioning
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions (AI, biotech, sustainable systems)
- Present actionable insights to C-suite executives through compelling data narratives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints focused on 5-10 year horizon planning
- Monitor regulatory shifts and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurist thought leaders and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in trend analysis and scenario planning for Fortune 500 clients
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with advanced visualization (Tableau, D3.js)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., APF, WFS)
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ long-term strategic frameworks implemented in production
