Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product ecosystems
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and societal trends
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and risk mitigation
- Author white papers and thought leadership for industry conferences
- Manage innovation portfolios with $15M+ annual R&D budgets
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout disruptive startups
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics, or climate tech
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier media
- Fluency in strategic modeling languages (e.g., System Dynamics, Agent-Based Modeling)
