Responsibilities
- Analyze macro-trends (AI, biotech, climate, geopolitics) to forecast 2026 industry landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks for future-proofing organizational operations and innovation pipelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on 5-year vision and action plans
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Design metrics to track organizational readiness for future disruptions
- Represent Nexus at global futurism forums and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or futurism with proven 5+ year forecasting success
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative discipline
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholder management experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (whitepapers, journals)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or Foresight Practitioner Program)
