Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging domains (AI, quantum computing, biotech, sustainable infrastructure)
- Present visionary briefings to executive teams and board members with data-driven insights
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, speaking engagements, and industry publications
- Monitor global policy, regulatory, and ethical frameworks impacting future technologies
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for potential futures and risk mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences and stakeholders
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, etc.)
- Portfolio of published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
