Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, biotech, AGI) to forecast 2026+ market disruptions
- Develop strategic roadmaps for exponential technology adoption across Fortune 500 clients
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions
- Author thought leadership papers on ethical AI and sustainable tech implementation
- Partner with R&D to prototype 5-10 year horizon solutions
- Build competitive intelligence frameworks for emerging tech landscapes
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon-scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (quantum, AI, nanotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Published research on long-term tech impact (IEEE, MIT Press, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and Delphi forecasting methodologies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or equivalent preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-shaping projects
