Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech domains (quantum AI, neurointerfaces, climate tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis using proprietary predictive modeling tools
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with C-suite executives and academic partners
- Author thought leadership reports published in Wired, MIT Tech Review, and industry whitepapers
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine symbiosis
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers and prototype engineers
- Present strategic briefings to the board and key stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field (or 10+ years equivalent experience)
- Proven track record of predicting industry disruptions with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in scenario planning and probabilistic forecasting methodologies
- Published author or keynote speaker at global innovation forums
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI
- Experience leading high-impact R&D initiatives with $10M+ budgets
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented future-focused innovations
