Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze global technological, economic, and social trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and bio-innovation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product development pipelines
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed foresight into corporate decision-making frameworks
- Author thought leadership reports and keynote presentations at industry summits
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies for acquisition and integration opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology evolution
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-proofing initiatives
