Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts with 3-5 year impact
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026 market positioning across AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and risk mitigation strategies
- Establish innovation ecosystems through partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Translate foresight insights into product development priorities and investment opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (white papers, patents, or industry reports)
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of at least two emerging tech domains: AI, synthetic biology, quantum computing, or neurotech
- Proven ability to influence executive decision-making through data-driven future insights
- Experience building cross-functional innovation teams and managing complex projects
