Responsibilities
- Forecast disruptive technologies and market shifts through quantitative modeling and qualitative trend analysis
- Develop strategic frameworks for 2026+ product roadmaps aligning with ESG principles
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' workshops with C-suite executives
- Author white papers and thought leadership positioning company as industry futurist
- Build scenarios for regulatory landscapes and geopolitical impacts on innovation
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive analytics and systemic thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Masters/PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related technical field
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or technology foresight roles
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analyses or scenario planning projects
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology domains
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Track record of converting futuristic concepts to commercial products
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
