Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap across AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, researchers, and designers to prototype future solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Present findings and recommendations to C-suite and board of directors
- Drive innovation sprints focused on 2026 use cases and market readiness
- Mentor next-generation futurists and build the innovation pipeline
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism role
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or research initiatives
- PhD or equivalent in relevant field with peer-reviewed publications
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Portfolio of published futurism work or patented innovations
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, C++, R)
