We're seeking a visionary 2026 Futurist Lead to architect transformative strategies for our post-2025 roadmap. This role demands a blend of analytical rigor, creative foresight, and cross-functional leadership to navigate emerging paradigms in AI, quantum computing, and sustainable infrastructure.
As a key architect of our 2026 vision, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and global innovation partners to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate future risks. Your work will directly shape our product development, market expansion, and corporate sustainability initiatives for the next generation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic foresight roadmap using trend analysis, scenario planning, and predictive modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging technologies and market disruptors
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs and frameworks for measuring long-term innovation success
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry symposiums
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience with horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management
- Portfolio of published future scenarios or thought leadership pieces
