Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 innovation roadmaps for emerging tech domains (quantum computing, biotech fusion, AI ethics)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive trends and market inflection points
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and venture capital firms
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members for investment decisions
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons and external thought leadership
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation strategy with proven 5+ year horizon planning experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant technical field
- Portfolio of launched products/services with 3+ year market impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology) and adoption curves
- Exceptional stakeholder management with C-suite/board communication skills
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFS, CFMP) or equivalent
- Experience scaling innovation from concept to commercialization
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech/futures publications
