Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological disruptions (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Architect innovation roadmaps with 5-10 year strategic vision
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to ideate future products/services
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategy for emerging domains
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-driven allocation
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and startups
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Strong quantitative modeling and scenario planning skills
- Exceptional communication with ability to inspire stakeholders
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CFM) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating future-thinking projects
