Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry predictions
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Design and execute pilot programs for next-gen solutions in AI, quantum, and synthetic biology
- Collaborate with C-suite to align innovation strategy with business objectives
- Present future technology forecasts to stakeholders and investors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting 2026 tech landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Futuristics; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in R&D or innovation leadership with proven 5-year planning success
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic systems
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional strategic communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
- Portfolio of implemented innovations with measurable impact
- Certification in Foresight or Technology Assessment preferred
