Responsibilities
- Map and analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026+ market disruption
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps aligned with 5-year business objectives and technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional labs to prototype future-facing products and services
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D pioneers to accelerate breakthrough development
- Present foresight insights to C-suite and board members to inform high-stakes strategic decisions
- Build and mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and socio-economic indicators to anticipate market evolution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or services
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience scaling innovation teams and managing R&D budgets $5M+
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management
